Dear Parents,
As you know our Junior School Sports Day is coming up June 8th for Nursery -Yr 2 and June 9th for Yrs 3-6. On June 8th, we will be finishing all activities around lunchtime. On June 9th, there will be athletic events going until lunchtime and then after lunch will be some fun events for the classes to challenge each other. The day concludes at 2:30 for an awards presentation in the old gym. Any parents that would like to help out on either or both days would be greatly appreciated! Please contact me if you are interested in helping out in any way. My email at school is: e.thompson@dominics-int.org
Thank you,

Hello all,
we are on our last big unit-Athletics, getting ready for Sports Day coming up in 2 weeks time. Nursery-Yr 2 will have sports day on Tuesday, June 8th from 9-11:30. Yr 3-Yr 6 will have sports day on Wednesday, June 9th from 8:45-2:30 with an awards presentation at 2:30 in the old gym. A letter will be going home with more information about activities and schedule of events. Parents of course are welcome to come and cheer on all the students. We have some students competing in the Jamor Athletics day on Wednesday, May 26th against athletes from St. Julians and CAISL. Remember to bring a water bottle and hat to PE, many students still don not have and the weather is getting very warm.

Hello!
A great big thank you to all the dancers at the assembly on Friday! They did a fantastic job showing off our dance unit. We have finished our badminton unit, now that testing has begun and we are on to more hand-eye coordination skills with the game of softball for years 4-6. K-3 will be working on hand-eye coordination skills using tennis as our guide. We are coming up on the athletics unit and more information about the sports day will be announced. Now that the weather has finally gotten a bit warmer, please remember to bring a water bottle and hat to PE class. Also, wearing or bring shorts and tee-shirt to stay a bit cooler. At the end of the week, years 3-6 will be running 1k for charity Terry Fox run. A great cause and some extra running for students!
